



Ithaca, N.Y., February 5, 2006- Springfield College junior Jillian Silverman (Londonderry, N.H.) posted a first place score of 9.300 in the uneven parallel bars and tied for first in the vault with teammate Penelope Rohunko (Wiles Barre, Pa.) (9.625) as the Pride, ranked third in GymInfo’s latest Division III poll, fell to top-ranked Ithaca College, 182.225 to 181.775, this afternoon.
SC sophomore Kerry McGowan (East Lyme, Conn.) tied for first with Ithaca’s Krystal Kaminski (Churchville, Chili) in the floor exercise (9.600), while placing second in the balance beam with a score of 9.125.
The Pride (3-3) host Brown University (4-3) on Sunday (Feb. 12) at 1:00 p.m.
