McHugh delivered off a penalty corner 2:59 into the second half and the hosts used markers from Gallo, Hayden Riley, and Kayla Sokol to complete the 7-0 victory.

Springfield finished the game with a 21-4 edge in shots and a 10-8 cushion in penalty corners.

For the Lyons, Madison Wolters made seven saves in the loss. Timarie Villa need to make four stops to earn the shutout win.
