WORCESTER, Mass., - Dec. 10 - Springfield College junior
Scott Fay (Danbury, Conn.) improved his record to 16-3 with a victory in the 285-pound division to lead the No. 10 Pride to a 23-15 win over WPI in its first dual-meet action of the winter.
Fay, the seventh-ranked 285-pounder in Division III, defeated the Engineers' Tom Lashmit, 5-0, to lead SC, ranked No. 10 in the latest Brute/adidas Division III poll, and first in the latest New England College Conference Wrestling Association Division III New England poll. WPI (0-1) is ranked fourth in New England.

Brian Viglione (Chelmsford, Mass.) improved his record to 20-3 with a 12-5 decision over WPI's Peter Krzyzewski in the 174-pound division, while senior
Tom Medonis (Wethersfield, Conn.) ran his record to 16-4 with a technical fall over Josh Bodden, 20-4, in the 197-pound competition.
