Wrestling Ranked 11th In National Wrestling Coaches Association Poll

Springfield, Mass., Oct. 31, 2002 - The Springfield College wrestling team has been ranked 11th in National Wrestling Coaches Association Division III preseason poll released on Tuesday.

SC senior Keith Polosky (Middle Island, N.Y.) is ranked second in the nation in the 141-pound weight class.

The 2002-2003 Pride, which features two returning national qualifiers and nine conference place winners, looks to make its sixth top-10 finish in the NCAA Division III Tournament in the last eight seasons after finishing 13th last winter. SC was ranked as high as sixth nationally last season.

Head Coach Jason Holder

Jason Holder will enter his third season as head wrestling coach in 2013. Holder had a standout first season at the helm of the Pride, leading Springfield to the NEWA Duals Championship and taking three wrestlers to the NCAA Championships. Read more.
