



Springfield, Mass. - May 2, 2011 - Junior Harry Bernstein was honored as the Pilgrim Lacrosse League's Player of the Week on Monday afternoon after leading Springfield to its fourth-straight regular season title on Saturday.The Westfield, N.J. was spectacular in Springfield's 15-5 win over MIT as the Pride clinched the top-seed in the upcoming Pilgrim Tournament. The attackman tallied a season-best six points off three goals and three assists, all of which came in the first half, to lead the Pride to victory.
Bernstein will look to mirror his success against the Engineers when he leads the Pride against MIT in the Pilgrim League Tournament Semifinals on Wednesday evening at 7:00 pm.

Keith Bugbee enters his 30th season as head men's lacrosse coach at Springfield College in 2013. Under his direction, the Pride is one of the top programs in the country. Bugbee's coaching record stands at an impressive 317-149 (.680 winning percentage). Read more.
