Foley Earns Conference and National Weekly Recognition

Foley Earns National and Conference Recognition Springfield, Mass. - January 28, 2014 - Springfield College junior Dylan Foley (Southborough, Mass.) has been selected as the D3Wrestle.com National Wrestler of the Week, as well as the New England Wrestling Association (NEWA) Co-Wrestler of the Week after going 4-0 last week at 165 for the Pride.

Foley won all four of his matches at 165 last week to help Springfield to a victory over Norwich on Wednesday and a second- place finish in the NEWA Duals on Sunday. Along the way, Foley defeated the conference's second-ranked wrestler in David Pinto of Norwich as well as the conference's top-ranked and second-ranked wrestler in the nation, Collin Crowell of Roger Williams.

With his four wins last week, Foley now owns an impessive 24-4 record this year. Springfield next competes in a pair dual meets this weekend, taking on Wesleyan on Saturday and TCNJ on Sunday.
