Kulcsar, a senior defensive tackle from Haworth, N.J., finished with a team-high eight tackles on the day, including four solo stops. He also had two tackles-for-loss for 14 yards, and a sack for 10 yards early in the contest, taking the Colonials out of field goal range.
Springfield is now 3-0 on the season, and will play its next three games at home. The Pride's next contest is a 2 pm encounter with Empire 8 defending champion Alfred University this Saturday September 25. Alfred handed Springfield one of its two losses a year ago when SC finished 8-2.
