



Springfield, Mass. - April 13, 2012 - The Springfield College women's lacrosse team will be participating in the "Lax 4 Life and Play 4 the Cure Event” on Saturday at 12:00 pm when it takes on MIT to help raise money for The Allyson Rose Green Memorial Foundation and the Susan G. Komen foundation for breast cancer research.The “Lax 4 Life” foundation deals with adolescent suicide prevention and all proceeds raised this weekend will be donated toward the Allyson Rose Green Memorial Fund. The ARG Fund was started two years ago and can be visited at www.allysonfund.org.

As a team, Springfield women's lacrosse will be wearing pink and yellow t-shirts and socks to benefit suicide prevention and breast cancer awareness. Springfield is requesting that fans wear pink and yellow to this contest.


Kristen Mullady ‘00, enters her fiffth season as the head women’s lacrosse coach at Springfield College. A former standout for Springfield’s women’s lacrosse team, Mullady led Springfield to back to back NEWMAC titles in 2012 and 2013. Read more.
