Cara Reilly (Lenoxdale, Mass.) scored two goals as the Pride downed the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA), 3-0, in a non-conference match this afternoon at Brock-Affleck Field.
SC junior midfielder
Molly Desroches (Belchertown, Mass.) scored the Pride’s first goal in the fourth minute of play off a cross from senior midfielder
Jonica Yerzak (Waterbury, Conn.).
Reilly scored her first goal of the match in the 29th minute of play off a feed from senior midfielder
Asheley Bardin (Dalton, Mass.). In the 87th minute of the match, Reilly again scored off an assist from Desroches.
Springfield sophomore keeper
Christina Davis (Orange, Conn.) recorded her fourth shutout of the season in a game dominated by the Pride.
SC improves to 3-1-1 and will next be competing at Brandeis on Saturday, September 20th, at 12:00 p.m.

John Gibson, a native of London, England, enters his 13th season as head women's soccer at Springfield College in the fall of 2012. Gibson has led the Pride to the NCAA Tournament in five of the last seven years and has established the Pride as one of the top programs in the country.
