



NEW LONDON, Conn. - November 10, 2007 - Paced behind an eighth-place overall finish from Mike Griffin (Scarborough, Maine), the Springfield College men's cross country team finished 15th out of 47 teams at the 2007 NCAA Div III Cross Country Regional Championships.
Griffin will make the trip to St. Olaf College in Minnesota next weekend for the NCAA Division III Championships. Griffin finished with a time of 25:10.3 and finished in eighth out of 330 runners.
Brian Fuller (Ludlow, Mass) finished in 55th with a time of 25:53.7 for the Pride. John DeVaney (Albany, N.Y.) crossed the finish line in 26:28.5 (91st place) while Michael DeCrescenzo (New Milford, Conn.) finished in 118th in 26:56.1 and Jeff Bartlett (West Newbury, Mass.) finished in a time of 27:06.8.
Bryan Brown will enter his third season as the head men's cross country coach in the fall of 2013. Brown, who was a former All-American at Springfield College in track, is the reigning NEWMAC Coach of the Year after leading Springfield to its second-straight second-place finish at the conference championships a year ago .
