Men's Tennis Downs WPI, 5-2
Springfield Mass., April 15, 2003 - - Springfield College junior
Chris Sweeney (Wakefield, Mass.) won in #3 singles play to help lift the Pride to a 5-2 victory over WPI in New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference play Tuesday afternoon at Appleton Courts.

Justin Freitas (East Providence, R.I.) won in #4 singles, while junior
Brad Boisvert (Ponaganset, R.I.) won in #5 singles and sophomore
Tim Losee (Berlin, N.H.) took #6 singles.
Junior
Yuta Yoshi (Yokosuka, Japan) and sophomore
Rich Aseltine (Tyngsboro, Mass.) won #1 doubles and Boisvert teamed up with junior
Chris Brouses (Delran, N.J.) to win #3 doubles for Springfield.
Orest Skoplyak and Steve Fleck both won in singles play for WPI.
