



Springfield, Mass. - January 12, 2012 - For the first time in program history, a member of the Springfield College men's volleyball team will be blogging throughout the season to provide an inside look of what it's like to be a college student-athlete. This season, sophomore Ryan Lilley will be chronicling the Pride's season. Springfield will embark on a 2012 season highlighted by several historic focal points. Springfield opens up the season as the first ever Division III program to play in the prestigious Outrigger Invitational hosted by the University of Hawaii. In addition, the Pride will make a push to qualify for the first ever NCAA Division III Men's Volleyball Championship, which will be hosted in Springfield College's Blake Arena on April 27-29.
Lilley has already provided a pair of entries about the team's experience traveling to Hawaii and the memories they have already created on the island of Oahu.

With seven national championships to his credit, Charlie Sullivan will enter his 15th season as head coach of the men's volleyball team in 2013. In 14 previous years at the helm, Sullivan owns an overall record of 224-155 for a .591 winning percentage. Read more.
