The senior outside hitter has been tremendous of late and he continued to impress last week as the Pride defeated Sacred Heart and top-ranked Juniata. The Rochester, N.Y. native totaled 36 kills, hitting .406, to go along 21 digs and nine blocks to help secure the wins for the Pride.
For the week, Nally averaged 5.14 kills, 3.00 digs, 1.29 blocks and 5.86 points per set.
Against Sacred Heart, Nally recorded 19 kills nine digs and five blocks, with a .400 hitting percentage. Nally notched 17 kills and 12 digs against Juniata while hitting .412 as Springfield knocked the top-ranked team in Division III.
This season, Nally is averaging a team-high 3.84 kills per game while owning a hitting percentage of .270. The senior is also leading the team with 2.56 digs per game.
Nally becomes the third different member of the Pride to be named EIVA Player of the Week as teammates Cal Palumbo and Alistair Matthews have each garnered the award this season.
