Women's Soccer To Hold Summer Camp in August
Springfield, Mass. - May 28, 2013
- The Springfield College women's soccer program will once again be holding its summer camp, which will take play August 2-4. This camp is designed to provide the college bound soccer player with the knowledge and understanding of what it takes to succeed on and off the field at the collegiate level.

Players will be exposed to the four corners of performance development through physical, technical/tactical, psychological and social education. In addition, both on field and interactive classroom based seminars will be used to create a positive learning experience that is both enjoyable and challenging.
Camp registration fee includes meals and housing. Campers will be housed in a traditional college residence hall and eat their meals at the on campus dining facility.
Head Coach John Gibson
John Gibson, a native of London, England, enters his 14th season as head women's soccer at Springfield College in the fall of 2013. Gibson has led the Pride to the NCAA Tournament in six of the last eight years and has established the Pride as one of the top programs in the country. His clubs have registered an impressive a 165-75-21 record.
