



Hess, who was also named the Empire 8 Defensive Player of the Week for his efforts on the gridiron, had a tremendous game at Brockport on Saturday, despite the Pride's 21-20 loss. The 6-0, 210 pound senior linebacker recorded 11 tackles, including six tackles for loss. All six of his unassisted tackles were for a loss totaling 18 yards.
A native of Kingston, Mass. and a transfer from Trinity College, Hess has 27 tackles on the season, nine of which are for a loss.
Hess and the Pride return to Stagg Field this weekend to take on No. 8 St. John Fisher at 1:00 pm in an Empire 8 battle.
