Men's Tennis Falls To Wheaton College, 7-0
NORTON, Mass., April 16, 2005- The Wheaton College men's tennis team swept four straight matches Saturday afternoon, as the Lyons rolled to a 7-0 win over Springfield College in New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) tennis action at Clark Tennis Courts.
Springfield juniors
Justin Freitas (East Providence, R.I) and
Alex Kosicki (Brooklyn, N.Y) were edged out by junior captain Nick Potter and freshman Jared Karlebach , 9-7 in #2 doubles action.
The Pride falls to (2-5, 1-3 NEWMAC), while Wheaton College improves to (13-2, 4-0 NEWMAC).
