Men's Cross-Country 12th at ECAC Championships

GRAFTON, Mass. Nov. 6, 2004 – Junior
Chris Hamel (Methuen, Mass.) led the Pride to a 12th-place finish in the 34-team field at the Eastern College Athletic Confernece Division III Cross-Country Championships last weekend at "The Farm" in Grafton, Mass. Hamel covered the eight-kilometer course in 28:37 to finish 45th out of 243 runners.
Sophomore
Nate McMahon (Millis, Mass.) finished 54th overall with a time of 28:46. Senior
Rob Silliman (Portland, Conn.) finished his Springfield College cross-country career by placing third for the Pride and 72nd overall (29:12).
Junior
Pat Byrne (Tolland, Conn.) and sophomore
Ryan Palmison (Plymouth, N.H.) rounded out the SC's top five by placing 88th (29:34) and 103rd (29:56), respectively.
Springfield College will travel to University of Southern Maine for the NCAA Division III New England Regional Championships on Saturday, Nov. 13,

Head Coach Bryan Brown

Bryan Brown will enter his second season as the head men's cross country coach in the fall of 2012. Brown, who was a former All-American at Springfield College in track, led Springfield to a second-place finish at the NEWMAC Championships a year ago .
