Bradley, Gallo Named To NFHCA All-Region Second Team Springfield, Mass. -- November 18, 2010 -- Two Springfield College field hockey players, Meg Bradley and Kelly Gallo, have been named to the 2010 Longstreth/NFHCA Division III All-Region Team for their outstanding play during the fall season.

Bradley is a senior midfielder from Cumberland, R.I., while Gallo is a freshman attacker from Westfield, Mass.

Both have been named to the 2010 Longstreth/NFHCA Division III All-New England East Region Second Team

Gallo finished the season with a team-leading 27 points. That included 11 goals and five assists. Two of her goals were game-winners. She also led the team in shot attempts with 61.

Considered an excellent midfielder, both offensively and defensively, Bradley finished with two goals and one assist for five points. One goal was a game-winner.

Springfield reached the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference post-season tournament as the fifth-seed. The team met with immediate success by defeating fourth-seeded Mount Holyoke, 4-2, in South Hadley. Four days later, the squad met #1-seeded and eventual NEWMAC Tournament Champion Babson, which prevailed, 1-0.
