Acciaioli Places First At Trinity Last Chance Meet

NEW HAVEN, Conn., March 5, 2005 – Springfield College junior Natasha Landon (Hudson Falls, N.Y.) surpassed her previous pole-vault school record by clearing 10 feet 10 and three-quarters to earn second place this past weekend at Trinity’s Last Chance Track and Field meet.

SC junior Christina Davis (Orance, Conn.) captured first place in the weight-throw with a toss of 47-7.75

On the men’s side, senior captain Matt Acciaioli (Warwick, R.I.) placed first and sophomore Alex Kampersal (Natick, Mass.) took second in the shot-put with distances of 53-5 and 49-1.5, respectively.

SC senior Justin Welch (Woburn, Mass.) cleared 6-4.75 to place second in the high jump.
