



Complete ResultsSPRINGFIELD, Mass. -- September 8, 2008 -- The Springfield College golf team finished in ninth place out of 12 teams this weekend at the Tim Brown Invitational.
The Pride played the par 72 Saratoga Spa State Park Golf Course in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. Of the 12 teams competing, there where a total of 63 golfers that played in the Invitational.
Greg Levings (Averill Park, N.Y.) led the way for Springfield with a six-over, two-round score of 150, which tied him for 15th in the competition. Levings shot a 74 on the opening day of play and followed that up with a 76.
Craig DiFranco (East Longmeadow, Mass.) finished tied for 33rd with a 14-over, 158 (78, 80), while teammate Bryan Andersen (Enfield, Conn.) tied for 44th with a 164 (84, 80).
Wrapping up the Pride's scoring in the competition was Mike LaJoie's (Enfield, Conn.) 166 (85, 81) and Junior Balogun (Springfield, Mass.) shot a 187 (97, 90).
The Pride will next play in the Middlebury Invitational on Sept. 13-14.
