



Brockport, N.Y. -- March 24, 2012 -- Carly Flynn completed her career in style by tying for third in the vault at the National Collegiate Gymnastics Association championships this afternoon at the College of Brockport. As a result, she finished her career as an All-American.A senior from Franklin, Mass., Flynn's mark in the vault was 9.5250. She tied with Teagan Oare of UW-La Crosse.
Finishing first in the vault was Monica Durham of Ursinus at 9.6000. In second was Marissa Goodstein of Cortland at 9.5750. Then came Flynn and Oare.
Tied for fifth were Olivia Sylvestro of Brockport and Katie Thompson of UW-Whitewater, both with scores of 9.5000.
Flynn was the only gymnast from Springfield College to advance following last night's results.
And that finishes the 2012 women's gymnastics season.
