



Complete ResultsNew Haven, Conn. - February 24, 2013 - The Springfield College women's gymnastics team posted its best team score of the season, a 184.525, as it placed second among three teams at Southern Connecticut State University on Sunday afternoon.
The host Owls scored a 188.7 to win the competition, closely followed by the Pride's total. Rhode Island College finished a distant third with a 171.65.
In the all-around competition, Lauren Pocius was the runner up with a 37.100 and Abby Clark took third after tallying a 35.600.
Kristin Feliu had another great showing on the vault, posting a first-place score 9.55, while teammate Brittany Baglow tied for third with a 9.5 on the event.
Pocius was responsible for the Pride's best mark on the uneven bars with a winning mark of 9.550, and Nicole Caradonna registered a 9.475 on the beam.
Both Baglow and Annmarie Graziosa notched Springfield's highest total on the floor exercise, a 9.375.
Springfield will compete again next Saturday when it travels to Pennsylvania to square off against West Chester, Wilson and Rhode Island College.
