



Springfield, Mass. - February 25, 2011 - Brittany Baglow and Annmarie Graziosa were honored by the ECAC after strong performances in last Sunday's three-team meet in Blake Arena. Baglow was named the ECAC All-Around Performer of the Week, while Graziosa took home Co-Specialist Honors.A native of Amherst, Mass., Baglow tied for first place in the all-around and set a personal best of 37.10 at the meet at home verses MIT and Southern Connecticut State University on Sunday afternoon. She tied for first in the floor exercise with a 9.675, and placed fifth on the balance beam with a personal best of 9.45. Her efforts helped lead the Pride to its highest team score of the season with 182.975.
Graziosa, sophomore from Eastchester, N.Y., scored her personal best in her floor routine with 9.525, which was good enough for a fourth-place finish. She also totaled a 9.225 on vault and a 9.0 on beam.



Cheryl Raymond, who will be entering her 33rd year as women's gymnastics coach and assistant professor of physical education at Springfield College in 2012-2013, is one of the top college coaches in the region. Read more.
