No. 9 Men's Lacrosse Makes Ninth NCAA Tournament Appearance
, - The ninth-ranked Springfield College men's lacrosse team will travel to Stevens Institute of Technology (N.J.) Sunday, May 16 at 1 p.m. for second-round game of the NCAA Division III Tournament. The 17-team field was announced Sunday night.
Winners of 12-straight games, the Pride (13-3) won its fourth Pilgrim League Title and automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament in the last five years with a 12-11 win over Western New England last Saturday (May 1).
The Ducks (12-2), which have won their last 10 games, earned their fourth-consecutive Knickerbocker Conference Championship with a 23-9 win over Montclair State (N.J.) last Saturday. This will be their fourth NCAA Tournament appearance in as many years.
