Mantie Named To NSCAA College Scholar All-East Second Team Kansas City, Kan. - January 18, 2011 - Senior Katie Mantie was recognized for her success in the classroom by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) as she was selected to the College Scholar All-East Second Team.

The senior currently owns a 3.66 grade point average while studying in the Physician Assistant major.

Mantie was equally as impressive on the field this season as she tallied a team-best 14 goals en route to 32 points, marking the sixth-highest single season total in program history. More importantly, the NEWMAC All-Conference First Team selection scored eight game-winning goals, which proved to be the second-highest total in the country this year.

John Gibson John Gibson, a native of London, England, enters his 14th season as head women's soccer at Springfield College in the fall of 2013. Gibson has led the Pride to the NCAA Tournament in six of the last eight years and has established the Pride as one of the top programs in the country.
