Babson Defeats Men's Soccer, 2-1
SPRINGFIELD, Mass.,October 28, 2002- Springfield College freshman midfielder
Evan Johnson (Northford, Conn.) scored on a cross from
Ryan Lavner (Shrewsbury, Mass.) to give the Pride a 1-0 lead in the 30th minute of play, but Springfield lost to Babson College on Monday, 2-1.
Babson College senior Mark Abraham (West Hartford, Conn.) scored with 3:41 left in the game to give the Beavers a 2-1 lead in the contest. With this victory, Babson improved to 7-5-5 on the season.
Springfield College falls to 5-11-1 on the season, and 1-3-1 in NEWMAC play this year. The Pride will be playing at Wheaton on Saturday, November 2 in their final regular season game at 1:00 p.m.
