



EWING, N.J., November 13, 2005 - Springfield College senior Jason Leckey (Guilford, Conn.) finished second in the 197-pound weight class of the senior division, compiling a 2-1 record at this afternoon's (Nov. 13) Central Jersey Open, hosted by the College of New Jersey.
Four SC wrestlers finished third in their respective divisions, with senior Scott Faivre (East Islip, N.Y.) placing third in the 174-pound senior division, senior Pete Marques (Massapequa, N.Y.) finishing third in the 141-pound senior division, sophomore Greg Dussol (Amston, Conn.) third in the 174-pound junior division, and junior Ryan Hannigan (Wyantskill, N.Y.) recording a third-place finish in the 125-pound junior division.
Other top peformers for the Pride included senior Adam Uffleman (River Vale, N.J.) took home a fourth-place finish in the 149-pound senior division, and senior Bill Koch (Hackettstown, N.J.) also finished fourth in the 165-pound senior division.
SC, ranked eighth nationally in Division III and No. 1 in New England, will next host the Doug Parker Invitational on Saturday, November 19, in a 10:00 a.m. start.

Jason Holder will enter his second season as head wrestling coach in 2012. Holder had a standout first season at the helm of the Pride, leading Springfield to the NEWA Duals Championship and taking three wrestlers to the NCAA Championships.
