Head coach Mark Simeone shook up his lineup today to give several players some rest as the Pride played its sixth game in sixth days.
However, trailing 2-1 in the bottom of the seventh, Simeone went to his bench and called upon Steve Starr to pinch hit. The first-year didn't disappoint as he roped an RBI double to even the game at two-all.
That set up Milano's heroics in the bottom of the eighth. With two strikes on him, Milano broke open the game with a three-run shot to lift the Pride to its fourth win in five games.
Travis Lane earned the no-decision as he gave up two runs in the starting role on the mound. Jon Medici was credited with the win in relief.
