Hay Earns ECAC Division III Women's Field Athlete of the Week Honors

Nikki Hay Springfield, Mass. - April 9, 2009 - After a standout weekend, Nikki Hay was honored as the ECAC Division III Women's Field Athlete of the Week. Hay was tabbed the NEWMAC Women's Field Athlete of the Week for the second-straight week as well this week.

Nikki Hay continued her phenomenal junior year, helping lead the Pride to a second place finish this weekend. Despite losing to Middlebury by just one point, Hay won the triple jump with an NCAA provisional qualifying distance of 11.41m (37-05.25). She also placed first in the long jump with a leap of 5.33m (17-06.00), winning by a foot.
