No. 11 Wrestling Beats WPI, 31-10
SPRINGFIELD, Mass., December 4, 2002 - Springfield College senior
Keith Poloskey (Middle Island, N.Y.) defeated Tejal Patel during Wednesday's match in Blake Arena to lead the Pride to a 31-10 victory over the WPI Engineers. Poloskey won his 141-pound match, 8-3, to improve his overall season record to an impressive 8-0.
Springfield College sophomore
P.J. Rovinelli (Framingham, Mass.) also contributed to the Pride's sucess, winning his 197-pound match by way of the pin in a time of 2:19.
With the victory, the Pride improved to 3-0 on the season. Up next for SC is the Petrofes Invitational at Messiah College this Friday/Saturday, December 6-7.
