



Springfield, Mass. - After finishing fifth in a recent qualifying competition, Springfield College sophomore Josh Fox will be one of six men's gymnasts to represent the United States of America in the senior men's elite division this summer in the 2009 Maccabiah Games.Out of 10 competitors, Fox placed fifth with a total score of 76.700. Fox posted a score of 12.800 on the floor exercise, a 12.050 on the pommel horse, a 13.050 on the still rings, a 15.100 in the vault, a 12.800 on the parallel bars, and a 10.900 on the high bar. His mark of 15.100 on the rings was the highest individual score on any event by any of the competitors in the meet.
The top six will now compete for the United States this summer in the Maccabiah Games, which are held in Israel.
