Quist Earns NEIBA All-New England Honors

Quist Earns NEIBA All-New England Honors Babson Park, Mass. - May 17, 2012 - The New England Intercollegiate Baseball Association (NEIBA) announced the 2012 Division III All-New England Teams which featured 51 athletes from across the region. Senior Karl Quist was named to the third team as a designated hitter.

A New Preston, Conn. native, Quist's senior season was the best of his collegiate career as he led the Pride to a 20-15 record and a second-place finish in New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) regular season.

This year, the designated hitter led the team with a .362 batting average while starting all 35 games. He led the squad with 50 hits, including 13 doubles, and produced 25 RBI. He also scored 25 runs and totaled a slugging percentage of .507.
