Women's Soccer Battles Williams To Scoreless Tie
, Sept. 12, 2004 - Springfield College junior goalkeeper Christina Davis (Orange, Conn.)
stopped 10 shots as the Pride battled Williams College to a 0-0 draw in a non-conference match this afternoon at Brock-Affleck Field.
For the second consecutive year, Davis has shutout the Ephs. Last year in Williamstown, she recorded nine saves in another scoreless tie. Williams sophomore goalkeeper Sarah Ginsburg (Dallas, Texas)
saved two shots for her second shutout of the season.
SC is back in action on Tuesday, Sept. 14 when it hosts MCLA at 4:00 pm on Brock-Affleck Field.

John Gibson, a native of London, England, enters his 13th season as head women's soccer at Springfield College in the fall of 2012. Gibson has led the Pride to the NCAA Tournament in five of the last seven years and has established the Pride as one of the top programs in the country.
