No. 15 Wrestling Falls To Williams, 19-19, On Sixth Tiebreaker
WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass., January 29, 2003 - Springfield College senior
Keith Poloskey (Middle Island, N.Y.) improved his record to 20-0 this winter, but host Williams College upset the No. 15 Pride, 19-19 on criteria. Williams defeated SC on the sixth tiebreaker, near falls, by a score of 11-3.
Poloskey, the top-ranked 141-pounder in the nation, earned a major decision, 15-5, over Tim Madden to keep his record unblemished.
With this loss, the Pride moves to a record of 12-6 on the season. Springfield will next be competing at the College of New Jersey on Sunday, February 2nd, at 12:00 p.m.
