Jaroszewicz Named ECAC New England Division III Runner Of The Week
SPRINGFIELD, Mass., February 10, 2004 – Springfield College senior
Pawel Jaroszewicz (East Longmeadow, Mass.) was named the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III New England Track Athlete of the Week after an outstanding performance at the Tufts Invitational on Saturday (Feb. 7).
Jaroszewicz won the 200-meter dash (22.56) and the 400-meter dash (49.32) to lead the Pride to third place out of 16 teams. He also ran a leg on SC's 1,600-meter relay team that included freshman
Jeff Cogan (Walworth, N.Y.), sophomore
Billy King (Wilmington, Mass.) and senior
Art Fredericks (Wallingford, Conn.) that posted a winning time of 3:23.12.
Host Tufts won the meet with 155 points, followed by Rensselaer (98.5) and Springfield (97).
