Thompson had her highest finish in an NCAA event as she took third on the one-meter with a score of 443.55 in the finals session. The Cheshire, Conn. product qualified for the championship final with a 427.85 in the prelims, which was the second-highest score of the morning. Last year, Thompson was fourth on the three-meter and was sixth on the one-meter.
Keefe, who hails from Waltham, Mass. totaled 368.35 in the consolation final en route to Honorable Mention All-America honors. Keefe posted a score of 367.75 to qualify to compete in the evening session. Last year, Keefe placed fifth on the one-meter a year ago and 13th on the three-meter.
In the 100 fly, Pennington earned her second All-America honor of the week as she placed seventh a night removed from winning the national title in the 50 free. The Monson, Mass. product finished the race in 55.83 after posting a 55.76 in the morning prelims to qualify for the evening's finals session.
Entering the NCAA Championships, Pennington was seeded seventh with a time of 55.83.
