Keene State Defeats Men's Soccer, 5-1
SPRINGFIELD, Mass.,Sept. 11, 2002- Springfield College sophomore
Mark Buschini (Fleetwood, England) scored the Pride’s lone goal as Keene State took a 5-1 victory in a non-conference match at Brock-Affleck Field.
The Pride dropped to 1-2 overall, while the Owls improved to 2-2.
Sophomores Jason Lombardo and Casey Banks both scored two goals for Keene State. Freshman Mike Lewis added the Owls’ final tally in the 88th minute. Sophomore goalkeeeper D.J. Nordmark made two saves and did not allow a goal in 87 minutes for the visitors.
The Pride hosts Westfield State on Saturday, Sept. 14 at 12 p.m.
