



The Pride, currently ranked 14th in the country in the latest NFHCA Poll, advanced to the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference Tournament semifinals to be played against Babson at Babson on Saturday, Nov. 3.
The Dexter, Maine native tallied five goals on the week, including all three game-winning tallies for the Pride. On Tuesday evening, Veazie scored both of Springfield's goals in a 2-1 win against Plymouth State, with her game-winning mark coming with 3:57 left in regulation. In the Pride's 2-1 win over Trinity on Thursday evening, Veazie led the Pride's come-from-behind effort as she once again found the back of the cage for the game-winner in the second half.
During Saturday afternoon's NEWMAC quarterfinal matchup versus Mount Holyoke, Veazie tallied a pair of goals en route to Springfield's 3-0 victory.
For the season, the senior forward has a team-best 19 goals and ranks second on the team in points with 44. Veazie has scored eight game-winning goals this year.
Veazie and the fourth-seeded Pride will square off against conference-rival and top-seeded Babson on Saturday at 12:00 p.m.
