Field Hockey Falls to Wellesley, 1-0, In OT
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. Oct. 18, 2002 – Springfield College sophomore goalie
Lindsey Pardue (Houston, Texas, Episcopal) made 16 saves but Wellesley College defeated the Pride, 1-0, in overtime in a New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) field hockey contest at Benedum Field.

Zanna Previti (Ashburnham, Mass.) scored the game winner with 9:12 remaining in OT. The Blue improve to 11-2 (5-0 NEWMAC) while the Pride drops their third straight and fall to 8-7 (3-3 NEWMAC).Wellesley outshot Springfield, 17-3.
The Pride will be in action Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m. when SC hosts Ithaca in the final home match of the season.
