Lynch Honored as ECAC Men's Lacrosse Division III New England Offensive Player of the Year

Lynch Honored as ECAC Division III New England Offensive Player of the Year Centerville, Mass. - May 23, 2013 - Junior Ryon Lynch was selected as the ECAC Men's Lacrosse Division III New England Offensive Player of the Year following a standout season for the Springfield College men's lacrosse team.

A native of Frederick, Md., Lynch was also chosen to the ECAC All-Star First Team. Earlier this season, the junior was named the Pilgrim Lacrosse League's Player of the Year after guiding Springfield to its sixth-straight conference title.

Lynch posted one of the finest offensive seasons in Springfield College history during the 2013 campaign. His 79 points is the 10th-highest single-season total in program history, while his 42 assists is the fifth most for a single season. He led the team with 37 goals, had seven games with at least five points, including four contests with seven or more points.
