Early Storm Results in Postponement of Baseball Reunion to Nov. 2-3, 2012
On Oct. 28, a large portion of the Northeast was hit by an early and destructive snowstorm. Heavy snow took down power lines, resulting in widespread power outages that, in many areas, are still unresolved. Communities surrounding the Springfield College campus are still entirely without power and water.
Despite many downed trees and other storm-related issues, Springfield College students are safe and warm, and classes are being held. Because we do not want to disrupt the power restoration and tree removal efforts in the city, however, we are postponing the Baseball Reunion for this weekend.
Please put Nov. 2-3, 2012, on your calendar and plan on joining us then.
