



Worcester, Mass. -- April 7, 2010 -- Tim Tunis defeated Harris Rollinger at No. 2 singles to lead his Springfield College men's tennis team to an 8-1 victory over Clark University in a New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference match earlier this afternoon. Tunis also combined with Trevor Romanzi at No. 1 doubles to win that match, allowing SC to sweep the doubles action.The win raised Springfield's record to 3-8 overall, and to 1-2 in NEWMAC play. Clark is now 2-4 overall, 0-2 NEWMAC.

Toby Coffin G’01, enters his third year as the head men’s and women’s tennis coach at Springfield College. Coffin, who has coached at numerous high schools in the area, will look to build a program which will contend for a conference crown.
