SPRINGFIELD, Mass. Oct. 8, 2002 – Springfield College junior forward
Julie Winslow (West Falmouth, Mass.) scored a goal and had an assist leading the No. 18 Pride past WPI, 4-0, in a New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) field hockey contest at Benedum Field.
The Pride, which outshot WPI 24-0, jumped out to a 3-0 halftime lead on goals by junior forward
Brianne Tompkins (Stormville, N.Y./Carmel), sophomore midfielder
Lydia Grant (Granby Conn./Granby Memorial) and freshman back
Alisha Miner (Sanbornton, N.H.). Winslow closed out the scoring for SC with her goal in the second half.
