Men's Lacrosse Fall In Double-Overtime At Williams, 12-11
WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. - April 2, 2003 - Despite three goals and five assists from freshman attackman
Taylor Brown (Portsmouth, R.I.), the Springfield College men's lacrosse team fell in double-overtime, 12-11, to Williams College this afternoon.
The Pride (2-4) built leads of four goals twice throughout the game, but couldn't hold on as the Ephs (5-1) scored four unaswered goals in the decisive fourth quarter to take an 11-10 lead with :18 second remaining. Sophomore midfielder
Derick Pedrick (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.) scored the third of his three goals off a feed from Brown with :11 second s remaining to send the game into overtime.
Afte a scoreless first overtime, Williams netted the game-winner with just under three minutes to go in the second overtime period.

P.J. Rovinelli (Framingham, Mass.) registered another solid game in goal for SC, totaling 17 saves.
