The Pride had team rounds of 301 on Saturday and 319 on Sunday for a total score of 620 strokes on the Par 71 layout which totals 6,754 yards.
The Williams "A" squad captured the tournament with a score of 584, some 15 strokes better than second-place Middlebury with 301+298=599. In third was Babson with 602, followed by Trinity (603), Williams "B" and Salem State (612), Hamilton (614), Western New England and Amherst (616), and Springfield (620).
The remainder of the teams included Bowdoin (629), Tufts (631), Manhattanville (632), Elms (637), Castleton State (640), Worcester State (658), Wesleyan (704), and MCLA (730).
Sangeloty, a grad student from Unionville, Conn., and DiFranco,a senior from East Longmeadow, Mass., both finished with scores of 158, tying for 23rd. The +16 scores were nine strokes in back of Dylan Dethier and Matt McCarron, both of Williams, with 149s.
Tying for third were Greg Scott of Hamilton and Michael Stone of Williams with scores of 150.
Tying for 54th were senior Chris Vincent (Norwich, Conn.) and sophomore Adam Ziewacz (Simsbury, Conn.) of Springfield with 167's.
Placing in a tie for 76th for the Pride was senior Ryne McEvoy (Accord, N.Y.) at 172.
Springfield is now off until Oct. 6-7 when it plays in the New England Collegiate Conference tournament at the Passaconaway Country Club in Litchfield, N.H..
