Women’s Soccer Falls To Amherst, 1-0
SPRINGFIELD, Mass., Sept. 26, 2002 – Amherst College sophomore forward
Lee-Jay Henry (Springfield, Mass.) scored the game’s lone goal to lift to Lord Jeff’s to a 1-0 victory in a rain-soaked event this afternoon at Brock-Affleck Field.

Jessica Kovacs (Dalton, Mass.) nearly scored on a hard shot inside the penalty area in the first half. The Pride fall to 2-4 on the season.
Amherst, last season’s NCAA Division III national runner-up, improves to 4-2.
The Pride open New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) play on Saturday at home against Babson at 3:00 p.m.
