Rivelli, a sophomore from North Kingstown, R.I., played the outfield for the Pride this season, helping SC to a 25-16-1 overall record and to the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference regular-season title.
She finished with a .333 batting average, scoring 19 runs, and knocking in 12, starting 33 games in 37 appearances overall. She routinely batted second in the line-up. She struck out only eight times in 105 at-bats. Her .333 batting average was fifth best on the team.
On the academic side, Rivelli accumulated a 3.79 GPA, majoring in Occupational Therapy/Health Science.
She becomes the fourth student-athlete from Springfield College to be named a Capital One Academic All-America (District I) this academic year. All four were named to the First Team in the northeast District. The others were: Katie Mantie in women's soccer, Sean Meagher in football, and Lauren Torvi in women's volleyball.
