A native of Walton, N.Y., Eisele was instrumental in the Pride's second trip to the third round of the tournament in three years. The junior midfielder picked the right time to tally her first goal of the season as she recorded the game-winning for Springfield in it's second-round upset of Christopher Newport.
Eisele finished off a corner from the left hand side off a pass from teammate Eileen Jenkins (Gorham, Maine) just 3:02 into overtime to complete the Pride's comeback victory and upset of the sixth-ranked Captains.
The Pride would eventually fall to second-ranked Salisbury University, 2-1 in the Elite Eight on Sunday afternoon.
Springfield finished its season with a 21-4 record, tying a program mark for most wins in a season.
