Young Paces Women's Cross Country at New Englands

BOSTON, Oct. 8, 2004 – Springfield College junior Meg Young (Hurley, N.Y.) covered the five-kilometer Franklin Park course in 19:16 to place 66th at the New England Championship meet.

Freshman Alyssa Brigham (Penacook, N.H.) continued her strong freshman season by finishing second for the Pride (20:47, 188th), followed by sophomore Jackie Knoblock (Plymouth, N.Y.) (21:05, 231st). Junior Jessie Zaccaro (Washingtonville, N.Y.) finished four seconds behind Knoblock, to finish 235th.
