Springfield, Mass. -- February 6, 2010 -- The Springfield College wrestling team hosted three other schools this afternoon at Blake Arena in a quadrangular meet involving four schools from the New England Wrestling Association. In its first match of the day, No. 2 Johnson & Wales topped No. 3 Springfield, 20-15, before the Pride downed No. 9 Trinity, 25-11. SC finished with a 21-13 loss to No. 8 Plymouth State.Plymouth State and Johnson & Wales each finished 2-0-1 on the afternoon, while Springfield went 1-2, and Trinity 0-3.
All matches began at 157 pounds.
